Yard Sale

This weekend, our apartment complex was supposed to have a yard sale. It was a bit of a flop, but I still made $5 even though I only had our stuff out for about 1 hour total. What made this yard sale special, however, was Sophia's reaction to us selling stuff. I had everything spread about on a blanket and a table. I was selling some clothes that were all on the blanket. Some of the clothes were mine, some Henry's and some were Sophia's.

At first, a girl came by, looking at my skirts. The second she picked up one of the skirts, Sophia looked over and said "that's Mama's". She walked over to the girl, and watched her, but at least remained calm. We sold one of the skirts. Yeah! Well, later on a lady came by and looked at the baby stuff. She picked up a pair of shoes, and when Sophia saw that, she started crying hysterically. Henry and I just had to laugh so hard at her reactions. I had no clue how she felt about 'her stuff' (she had never even worn those shoes), or that she'd recognize what is 'my stuff'. Impressive and funny - to me at least.
