Off
We've got a walking baby now. And I'm not talking about 1-2 steps. After pretty much zero attempts of walking (I can count the times she's walked in any manner on one hand), Sophia decided today that she can walk wherever if she wants to. And she did. It's cute, and fun and weird to me that she pretty literally went from not walking at all to suddenly walking with very little prep-time in between. In the last week or two she's made a few more attempts at standing and taking a step (literally 1 step). Today I saw her standing up on her own a lot, and later on she just walked all over. The best was when she wouldn't take her second nap. Eventually I took her out of her crib and said 'ok, if you walk over to the door, you don't have to sleep'. Off she went to the door, through the door, into our bedroom, all through our bedroom and out again, before she sat down. Huh. It's all about the right motivation, I guess.

Kids are amazing! It's so fun that we get to watch the changes.

Wow! You know it fascinates me how every kid has their own style. It took our daughter about two months to learn to walk, but she started early (9 months). Then there is Sophia, who saves it all up for one day. Amazing!
