Well, here she is. Here are a few more video clips taken right in front of her recent favorite hang-out place: the bath tub. If she is not IN the bath tub, then she likes to be in front of it, dreaming (I assume) about all the fun she could be having if she were IN the bath tub. She really loves playing in the water. So much, that she's now in the shower with me every morning, unless I want to listen to her mad screams while I shower. Once in the shower, she doesn't care whether her head is right under the water stream or not, she's just happily playing away - like a little shrimp.
I have to say, we really love her. She's just been sooo much fun recently. Despite developing more of a will and screaming like mad when I dress her, change her diaper, put her in her high chair for some food, or make her take a nap, other than that she's just full of laughter, giggles, a spirit of exploration and happiness. She has been amazingly uncomplicated and content all day every day except for the scenarios I just mentioned. Last night we went to someone's house for games. We had Sophia between Henry and I in a high chair while we played games. She was happily munching on some food, looking at her books, and just playing until it was time to eat. The she ate, and afterwards without much ado fell asleep in her car seat. Talk about easy! It's so much fun to have her around, we're always a little sad when we put her down at night.

Oh thank you. So sweet to see Sophia growing up! I love the description of her too.
Thanks Franny
Niklas says hi! He's having a sleepover at our house tonight with Salem. Thaddeus loves the water too. We went to 7 Peaks yesterday and he loved to float on his back in the lifejacket.
She is a cute little girl
Don't you just love being a Mom!
Thanks for capturing that great little talker. Mmm. It makes me feel near. I love how you think that she dreams of the tub. And thanks to Henry for putting your blog address on the family forum again. I get a hit and miss look at everything.
I did it for you Mom.
Henry
Cute little girl. She is so grown up!!! I feel guilty though...there are nights that I just can't wait for bedtime for my boys. I love being a mom though, as exhausting as it can be:).
Oh, don't feel guilty Marianne! Right after that lovely post, Sophia woke up in the night screaming for 2 hours. Then she screamed half of the day the next day. I wanted to shoot myself. It's great to have those little ones, but there are good days and bad ones, and some you just want to forget altogether.
I agree with your last comment!!
She's growing up so much! I just love her babbling while she taps on the bathtub. Ba Ba Ba. It sounds like the beginning of the word Bath. What a smart little girl!!
