This summer, we went to Utah for a week to participate in Feminist
Mormons Girl Camp, as well as visit friends and all. We went to Antilope
Island, an island in the great Salt Lake and actually swam in it. It
was really fun, even though the salt burned the girls private parts.
Ooops. Here are some pics of girl's camp and the Salt Lake.

Laurie Burk - a wonderful fellow feminist, who gets the awesomeness of Europe. And Kaiserschmarrn and stuff. |

The lovely Lisa Butterworth - founder of the Feminist Mormon Housewives blog. |

One of the first activities - we bailed, because a thunder storm was coming in, and Sophia was freaking out. |
 |
Evening Camp Activities, as well as introduction of the Feminist Camp manual. Fun times. |
 |
We lit lights and lamps in honor of people who've left the Church, or left our lives, or have died - to remember them. |

I still need to make myself one of those shirts. |

I'm in water that's maybe two feet deep, if. And still the salt content was so high, you were totally floating. |

You may not be able to see it, but the shoes are all covered with these ittybitty flies. That was the only gross part. |

And we saw a real wild buffalo. |
